Thanksgiving And Fall Inspired Arrangements

Another Chapel Design progressive blog post and I’m actually able to participate!  This time we’re showing off our Thanksgiving/Fall inspired arrangements.  Here’s one I did just for the post.

Thanksgiving Buffet Collection

birch posts, gold mercury glass, antique inspired arrangement, fall buffet arrangement, fall place card arrangement, textured arrangement

I really wanted an opportunity to showcase this new pedestal & wire cloche I got for future events and what better than a fall inspired blog post!?! I was lucky enough to have a few stems of foliage left over from a wedding the week before so I used seeded eucalyptus, agonis, broom corn, red atriplex. I was so excited, I finally got a chance to use my dried crepe myrtle blossoms that I have wanted to use since I cut them in the spring. For the blossoms I added orange ranunculus and antique gold combo roses. Add in some birch poles, gold mercury glass votives and viola a Thanksgiving buffet collection.

I also had a little helper which made it much more fun to create!

Here are some more fall inspired arrangements that I’ve done over the years.  Hope you like them!

fall pumpkin centerpiece, red and white centerpiece

White pumpkin arrangement comprised of pin cushion protea, stock, dusty miler, gerbera daisies, thistle and privet berries

Artichoke candle holders, fall centerpiece, gold and red centerpiece, low and long centerpiece

This low and long centerpiece featured gold painted artichokes, hollowed and filled with votive candles surrounded by red orchids in a black sunflower seed filled vase.

red mokara orchids, pheasant feathers, branches, pepper branches, burlap, fall centerpiece, fall tall arrangement

This arrangement is one of my favorites (despite the background!). I used pheasant feathers, pepper stems, red rosehips and red mokara orchids in a taupe gauze wrapped glass vase.

romantic fall arrangement, romantic fall centerpiece, textural fall centerpiece, peach centerpiece, peach fall centerpiece, orange centerpiece, orange fall centerpiece, tall fall arrangement

I miss the fall in Michigan, where textural plume grasses are around the same time as beautiful dinner plate cafe au lait dahlias still bloom in California. In Philadelphia, this is much less likely. These arrangements feature orange snapdragons, orange roses, cream hypericum berries, plume grass, cafe au lait dinner plate dahlias and seeded eucalyptus.
